Delivery
Yes we deliver! If you’re in the Ottawa and Aylmer/Hull area, we can deliver directly to your door.
On the day of delivery please be home between 9:30-3:30. When we arrive, we will place the package on your porch and then knock or ring the doorbell for you to pick up. If you are in an apartment, we will call you on arrival and you need to come outside to pick it up as soon as possible.
We will not be going inside any buildings. (In the case of rain we will put it securely in a plastic bag.)
Once your package is dropped off, we cannot accept any liability for loss of product and/or damages.

Cancellations/Refunds
If you would like to cancel your order for a refund, the cancellation must be made at least 3 days prior to your pickup or delivery date.
We will not be issuing refunds for orders cancelled within the 3 day period.
Gift Cards:
You can purchase items in store with the old gift cards when we open for walk-in days.
Online gift cards ARE NOT currently redeemable in store.
However, if you are trying to place an online order with a physical gift card, you will need to send an email with the following:
-Items to be purchased
-Gift card numbers
-Pick up time
-Phone Number
Once this is done, we can enter the gift cards on the back end and if there is a remaining balance we would let you know the remaining balance. The amount remaining would then need to be sent by e-transfer to the appropriate store email address with the answer to the security question: strawberry

We may cut off order deadlines early (i.e. holidays or if we get a larger than usual number of orders).

Pick Up/Delivery
If you plan to pick up and transport your order to your home or venue, we are not liable or responsible for any damage to the item(s) once it has left the bakery. Alternately, on the occasion that we deliver an order to your venue, we are not liable or responsible for any damage to the item(s) once it has been accepted and dropped off.
Outdoor Events
Any custom cake/wedding cake/cupcakes placed outside during an event has the possibility of melting or changing form due to weather conditions (such as, but not limited to, heat, wind, rain, humidity). We are not liable or responsible for any change in structure or damage to the cake/wedding cake/cupcakes once it has been delivered or picked up.
Changes to Custom Orders
Any major changes to a custom design (cake, cupcake, or sugar cookie), including color and guest numbers/quantity, must be communicated to us as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours before the pickup date. For custom orders that include fondant work, please know that we may not be able to make changes to an order if the fondant has already been made. Because of this, we ask that all details of the order are complete and confirmed at the time the order is placed. Changes to an order may effect the final cost from the original quote.
Artistic License
Strawberry Blonde Bakery reserves the right to exercise artistic license in order to guarantee the structural, visual, and creative integrity of a dessert structure.
Decorations for Custom Cakes
If you order a custom cake and would like to bring your own items (decorations, toys, etc.) into the bakery to be placed on the cake, they must be in their original, unopened package. This is to prevent any potential cross contamination inside our completely vegan, gluten-free, and nut free facility.

If you wish to cancel an order, we ask that you give us as much notice as possible. All orders over $100 require a 50% non-refundable deposit to be kept by Strawberry Blonde Bakery in the event you choose to do so.
